Our Niseko guides know this terrain in every condition, from resort guiding across Niseko United, Rusutsu Resort and Kiroro, to committed backcountry lines on Mt. Yotei. Every guide holds current qualifications and skis or rides this mountain range every season, so you get honest, current local knowledge on where the good snow is. Resort days and backcountry objectives are all on one page. Same team, same standards.
Guiding areas
*Mt. Yotei is a backcountry objective — we plan routes with you by email based on your experience and the conditions.
Niseko United, Rusutsu & Kiroro
A local guide unlocks the mountain — the right lines on the right day, tree runs on a powder morning, and the gates and traverses most visitors never find.
Chasing the storm cycle
When it is dumping, timing and terrain choice are everything. Your guide reads the wind, picks the aspects holding the best snow and keeps your group moving to fresh tracks through the day.
Mt. Yotei
Our senior backcountry guides run touring and descents on Mt. Yotei, Hokkaido’s iconic volcano. This is committing terrain, not a beginner outing — we plan every Yotei objective with you by email, based on your experience, fitness and the conditions.
Touring setups & avalanche safety
A beacon, shovel and probe are required for every backcountry day. If you are travelling light, rent a full avalanche safety pack (backpack, beacon, shovel and probe), airbags and touring skis or splitboards from our Kutchan shop — at a discounted rate when booked with your guiding.
