Tomamu

Lessons and guiding at Hoshino Resorts Tomamu — quiet slopes, dry snow, open terrain.

Summit is an official partner at Hoshino Resorts Tomamu in central Hokkaido. We run private lessons and guided days here for skiers and snowboarders of every level — from first turns on wide, quiet groomers through to tree runs and off-piste lines with a guide who rides this mountain all season. Tomamu is an easy day from Furano, so it works on its own or as part of a longer Hokkaido itinerary.

LESSONS

Private lessons on quiet slopes

Private lessons for individuals, couples and families, taught in English on Tomamu’s wide, uncrowded runs. Beginners get room to make mistakes without a queue building behind them. Stronger skiers and riders work on carving, variable snow and first moves off-piste.

GUIDING

Guided days across the mountain

A guided day means less time hunting and more time riding. Your guide reads the overnight conditions, picks the aspects holding the best snow, and links the mountain together so you are never guessing where to go next.

POWDER & TREES

Dry snow, quiet trees

Central Hokkaido holds some of the driest snow on the island, and Tomamu stays noticeably quieter than the bigger-name resorts. On a storm day that is a hard combination to beat — sheltered tree lines, soft landings and short lift queues.
