Furano Guiding

Advanced resort guiding and backcountry days across central Hokkaido.

Central Hokkaido holds some of the driest, deepest snow in the country, and our Furano guides are out in it all season — across Furano Resort, Tomamu, Kamui and into Daisetsuzan National Park. Guiding here is for advanced riders and up; we’ll match your group to the right terrain for the day’s conditions.

Asahidake & Daisetsuzan**

*Official Tomamu partner. Guiding in Furano is for advanced riders and up — we don’t run beginner lessons here. **Daisetsuzan National Park and Asahidake are covered in the backcountry section further down this page.

RESORT GUIDING

Furano, Tomamu & Kamui

A local guide gets you onto the right terrain for the day — sheltered trees when it’s blowing, open faces when it’s clear, and the lines that don’t show up on a piste map.

POWDER GUIDING

Central Hokkaido’s driest snow

Furano sits inland, away from the coast, and the snow shows it. Your guide tracks the storm cycle and picks the aspects holding the best of it, so your group spends the day on fresh snow rather than looking for it.

BACKCOUNTRY TOURING

Beyond the resort boundary

For committed backcountry days in Daisetsuzan National Park and around Asahidake, see our dedicated backcountry guiding page.
